LEGO® Ninjago Season 11: The Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu - Plot Overview

The 11th season of the LEGO® Ninjago TV series, titled The Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu, follows the events of Ninjago Season 10: March of the Oni. It precedes Ninjago Season 12: Prime Empire. Season 11 is split into two exciting chapters: the Fire Chapter and the Ice Chapter, featuring Aspheera and the Ice Emperor as the key villains, respectively.

Fire Chapter: Aspheera’s Revenge

The Fire Chapter picks up after the Ninja’s victory against the Oni. Seeking new adventures, the team joins Clutch Powers in exploring an ancient pyramid. Unbeknownst to them, the pyramid serves as the prison of Aspheera, an evil snake queen. When they accidentally release her, Aspheera steals Kai's powers to summon her army of Pyro Vipers.

Fueled by revenge against Master Wu, who once imprisoned her with the help of Forbidden Spinjitzu, Aspheera threatens the realm. The Ninja face the consequences of using the powerful but corruptive Forbidden Spinjitzu scrolls when Zane is struck by its energy, sending him into the Never-Realm. Determined to rescue Zane, the Ninja embark on a dangerous journey with no guarantee of return.

Ice Chapter: The Blizzard Samurai

The Ice Chapter begins in the Never-Realm, where the Ninja encounter the Blizzard Samurai, commanded by General Vex. Vex serves the mysterious Ice Emperor, who is revealed to be Zane, manipulated by Vex after losing his memory.

With the help of Akita, a shapeshifting Formling who can transform into a wolf, the Ninja restore Zane’s memories. Together, they defeat General Vex and reclaim the Never-Realm. Using Traveler’s Tea, the Ninja return home, victorious but forever changed by their journey.
